Well time has gone by fast again! Somedays I wonder is that a good thing or not? Seems like yesterday was July and now we are already heading towards the end of August.

Alot has been going on , My son and his family came up for 5 days and we put up a privacy fence and a deck. It looks great. Hubby is now finishing the front entrance gate and then the whole thing is completed. I went out and bought some nice stuff for in the gazabo which looks great! We like to sit there and visit with company, nice to get outta the house.

Been busy with Myra, She's great to work for. They are planning a trip this winter somewhere south and want me to go along. I would get paid for watching her while her hubby gets out and does the things he wants to do , golf etc.

Been hot out, I don't mind that though cause we have central air inside. I also love hot weather and enjoy it outside , Leah on the other hand thinks that walking should be done later in the evening , due to her black fur .....I don't blame her!

Well I blogged now, I"m sure that's going to make at least one person happy and SHE know's who SHE is !! LOL

Wow the time has flown by once again. Between our busy lives working, and then finally taking time to have a holiday,it was a well deserved trip.We left Dauphin of course in rain, doesn't it always work that way?? So we put on our rain gear and off we went. Along the way we fought rain and wind. By the time we got to the Alberta boarder things got better. It stopped raining , wind died down and yes the sun shone!!

We spent afew days in Calgary , helping Bill's sister buy a new car. Then headed off to BC. We went along the #3 hwy and wow what a awesome road trip on the bike. It took abit longer but was worth it! Finally around 10 pm we pulled in at Dad & Jackie's place.

Jackie has a awesome place!! The house is way up along a mountain edge , its like your own private Paradise up above the road. They really treated us well, and yes I was getting kinda used to the pampered treatment ......sigh I miss it now! They surpised me with a birthday cake and gift which they didn't need to do, but it was nice of them.

Hubby treated me to a day at White Rock, We went on my birthday and had a nice time watching the ocean and people watching , we went to have fish and chips and wow I swear that was the best fish i've ever had!!It was fun sitting outside enjoying the view , food , and each other.

The evenings were spent with Anthony , Bill's son. He's 17 years old and was very shocked to see us, We kinda didn't tell him we were coming ....hehehe
We went to watch afew movies , went to a game place where both kids played as i laughed and watched them. We went swimming , it was alot of fun.

Well as all good things must end, the time came to have to leave B.C It was time to head back towards home. So we left on a thursday, hit rain and had to stop and spend the night in Revelstoke, we had a very nice hotel room, so we chilled out , ate pizza and just enjoyed the time alone.

Loaded up the bike and headed out in the morning, Thank God no rain!!! It was a nice ride into Calgary, and yes back to his sister's house we headed. I called my sister from there and the next day we went to visit them and went to Heidi's son's party. Hiedi is my niece, and her baby turned a year that day. It was a nice party , got to meet her hubby's side and they are all great people , we enjoyed the afternoon visiting.

Sunday morning , loaded up the bike, Headed for Regina. The ride was nice and we stopped to see Bill's mother. After a hour or so we left there and worked our way back to Dauphin, it was nice to be home.

Unloaded the bike, went to go pick up our puppy who was happy where she was , but loved that we were back. Sandy and Clayton were great to take her for us while we were gone and we are returning the favor in august for them. There dog is also a little sweetie.

Now we are getting ready for our next project, its putting a fence in the back yard. I'm blessed to have friends who are putting it in for me , so I don't have to pay for the fence to be installed. All they want is a steak dinner and they will get it!
